Artist Statement
The essence of my work is emotion. It celebrates the beauty of nature in a lush and otherworldly way to nourish the viewer with a positive and dynamic atmosphere.
I design dream landscapes; depicting reality is not my goal. Rather, I want to bring subliminal feelings to the surface in order to establish a connection to the viewer's inner world. As a result, my images aren't sharp; the focus is soft, almost in resolution, with fragmented details. To achieve this blurry and distorted look, I shoot with effect lenses, prisms, and glittering objects, manipulating light and color.
I want to go beyond depicting the tangible, using the earthly elements of flowers and plants to create otherworldly spaces that invite you to dive in and relax. Energy, warmth, depth and space — form the components of these surreal worlds.

About me
Even as a child, Eva was passionate about being creative. She sewed doll clothes, designed and built entire doll houses, painted and drawn. Yet she never thought of a career in the world of art or design. However, her career choice soon proved to be the wrong decision and led to a long search for the right career. She always felt out of place no matter where she worked.
When the desire for creative work could no longer be denied, she embarked on a journey into the creative industry. However, this also did not lead to a satisfactory result, but she discovered photography as a means of expression and continued to educate herself from then on.
It was only during a trip to Japan, during which she undertook photo tours through the Japanese countryside, that she felt deep satisfaction in what she did for the first time and initiated a profound change in her life and artistic activity. She acquired new skills in the field of flower photography and expanded her ability to work in a multi-disciplinary manner.
However, her efforts almost came to a standstill when her health was severely affected after she cared for her parents in addition to her normal work activities. But it was during this time that her visual language developed, which was shaped by her personal experiences and life changes and the desire to create a healthy life with nature at the center.

Mission
My mission is to create emotionally moving art as a pioneer for mindful and healthy wellbeing;
to create works of art that are of high quality but should still be affordable for a global customer base;
to establish and maintain significant connections with galleries, local organizers, interior designers, entrepreneurs and private collectors.
About
Do you use artificial intelligence? No. Everything is handmade. I still use tools. Effect lenses, prisms, color filters, glitter In the digital sector, I use Lightroom and Photoshop. But I just let the colors glow a bit more and retouch imperfections from the lens if they occur because I missed them while cleaning. I don't change the shape of the flowers or change the color completely. That is also not necessary at all. Not even with my collages.
My background is in education and crafts. However, I have no training as a photographer. I learned what really interested me in many different courses. A number of the courses were online with teachers who are among the best in their field worldwide. I don't really want to call myself an autodidact like that.
This “as if painted” effect is created by combining the lenses with other tools. That is the magic of photography!But with my collages, I weave different photos together. You could call that painting if you want.
Flowers and plants are currently my only models. But for the future, I also plan to include people in my paintings.

Über meine Arbeit
The design in and with layers plays a major role in all of my work. Even in photography, different levels are created through depth and light. But editing in Photoshop also includes layers. This principle is also continued when working with the involvement of other media. Therefore, my portfolio can be divided into three different areas, where work with levels of increasing intensity is increasing.

Floral Dreamscapes & Impossible Landscapes are carefully selected photographs in a digital collage. Layer upon layer of interwoven flowers create an otherworldly landscape that defies the laws of physics or reality.

Flower portraits are “real” individual shots, not composites. The degree of distortion varies, and this is where the whole beauty of a flower comes into its own.

Flower fantasies worlds are surface designs based on my photographs, in which I combine various artistic techniques on a digital level.
